  The hospital is an 85-bedded acute general facility, and addresses the major medical problems facing the population in Bahrain and the Gulf. In particular, the hospital provides comprehensive care to patients with emphasis on patients with high demand on specialized services, particularly diabetic patients, where the hospital provides control and maintenance of health of diabetic patients, management of diabetic complications from retinal diseases to kidney and vascular complications. Surgery and its sub specialties is among the major services provided by the hospital. This is aided by the state-of-the-art equipment and top class professionals in the field, supported by modern imaging services, anesthesia and post-surgical care. Moreover, the hospital provides obstetrics and gynecology through major delivery suites and neonatal services. Pediatric care is provided through outpatient and inpatient services. Furthermore, the hospital provides Dental and Maxillofacial services, ENT services and soon to commence ophthalmology and endoscopic units.

  Worst hospital in Bahrain. I caught three types of bacteria after my operation. I had to go to another hospital to get treated. The aftercare was terrible. The junior doctors were oblivious to what was going on and had no clue how to take care of me. Just think twice before you commit yourself. Don't let the prices fool you. Its cheap for a reason. I only went here because my gynecologist changed hospitals. My biggest regret. It took 6 months of antibiotics to recover from the bacteria which i caught.

  المستشفى فرع الحد سيء في العلاج الطبيعي حيث لا يملك إلا عدد محدود من الأدوات والأجهزة وحدث أن في الجلسة السابقة لم يتم إحضار الجل المثلج في كورس المعالجة فسألت الممرضة فأخبرتني أن الثلاجة لاتعمل فإستغربت أن مستشفى بهذا الحجم لايملك إلا ثلاجة واحدة وكذلك جلست اليوم احضروا قالب الجلي الصغير واخبروني أن الكبير تم أخذه لمباراة تنس
